History:
Also known as Alvarado or the Infantry. He began construction of the first tower Juan Sánchez Ono, in the fifteenth century. Sold the tower 1401 Juan de Velasco, was recovered by Alvarado in the sixteenth century who added, on the facade This, a central body and another tower, giving the building a new palace functionality.
Description:
The building is rectangular body, flanked by two towers at the ends. It originates from a primitive tower built in the second half of sigloXIV that is square, ashlar masonry walls and in corners and retaining its hipped roof. In its facade This has a shield over a window.
When was recovered by Alvarado in the sixteenth century, was given characteristics of a habitable palace, formal symmetry with respect to the central body and a different execution voiding arranged symmetrically and larger. The symmetry of the whole was reinforced by a central axis where access stood, the coat of arms of the family in this central body on the balcony that still can be seen. The proportion and harmony of the whole become another aspect to highlight.

Initiated proceedings for declaration as Well Inventoried by the Ministry of Culture, Government of Cantabria (BOC 21/6/2006). Public information (BOC 04/10/2006). Lacks protective environment.
